Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is facing disturbing allegations from his fiancee, track star Tia Jones, who claims he physically abused her multiple times throughout their relationship. In a court filing obtained by DailyMail.com, Jones detailed five alleged incidents of domestic violence, culminating in a brutal March 7 altercation where she says Worthy nearly killed her.
Jones, who got engaged to Worthy in July, was granted a protective order on Tuesday after describing a pattern of escalating abuse. She accused the NFL rookie of slamming her against a wall, choking her, and dragging her toward the garage, where she feared for her life.
“I felt like I was going to die,” Jones stated in the filing. She also alleged Worthy stole her phone, tablet, and computer, forcing her to seek help from a neighbor.

Jones detailed multiple past incidents, including an October 2024 altercation where Worthy allegedly shoved her to the ground after an argument about his mother. She also claimed he choked her during a Christmas-time dispute and again in Kansas City, where she chipped a tooth when he allegedly shook her violently.
Worthy’s attorneys deny the accusations, calling them “false” and claiming Jones stole from his home. They insist multiple witnesses and evidence contradict her claims. Meanwhile, Jones’ attorney, Angelica Cogliano, asserts that her client has provided investigators with texts, photos, and medical records.
